Colin brings an impressive skillset, developed over a career in hospitality management in both Australia and the UK.
His experience includes running premium establishments in Edinburgh, including Howies and the Bridge Inn at Ratho, as well as large All Bar One venues in Manchester, London and Glasgow, giving him the ability to design and scale businesses of all sizes and target audiences.
He headed Glenfiddich Distillery’s F&B offer for the last five years and holds qualifications from both the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, making him uniquely suited to the task of building out Dufftown’s dining and drinking establishments.
" The opportunity to be involved in a project that will make a difference is too good to turn down. I am excited to join a team determined to leave behind something better than we found it, especially in an area that I now call home and have become very passionate about.
To be able to use the skills and expertise I have built up over 25 years in the hospitality industry to create meaningful, long-lasting change feels like I am giving something back. It’s the chance to create a legacy I can be proud of.
This is why I had to be involved in Truerlein and Dufftown – A New Dawn. "
